Great staff, woeful service sadly these days. My great grandparents used this chemist and I have also myself for 50 plus years. Lately I am finding that the queues are longer here than they were for the coronation of the king. After you have queued for at least 40 minutes you get to the counter to be told that they only have a small percentage of your script so you'll have to come back another day for another 45 minute ordeal. All despite being sent a text to say that your script is ready. It's such a shame that it is Nothing like it used to be in the good old days. And I also agree with the review that said you wait an unacceptable time on the telephone to then be cut off.

My husband went to collect his medication and was told there was nothing to collect he then visited the doctor who said that they had definitely sent it a week ago. He went back to the chemist and they said no we haven't had it after giving them a code. Then the very rude and condescending staff member said we haven't refreshed the system. There was no sorry instead the arrogant staff passed the prescription to him and said we don't have this so you'll have to go elsewhere. Absolutely useless they would benefit from customer contact training and remember that good manners cost nothing.

First time using this week as my usual pharmacy was full to bursting, I will be using this as my go to place from now on, all the staff were lovely, the pharmacists weren't all gossiping at the back like another place I know locally, seemed professional and polite and will recommend to anyone.

Hi been trying to contact you by phone for two days to ask you to order my repeat controlled prescription to no avail, i ordered it through the POD and they said it would be ready Wednesday but if i cant contact you to tell you then i wont be able to get them for my hols. You are a fab lot in there and always do you very best to help me which i sincerely thankful for. Keep the good work up . Kath Dowell

Walked in at 2pm to an almost empty pharmacy with no one in the que. I was picking up a simple repeat percription and told I would have a 10-15 minute wait..... it's now 14:55 and I've just been told it won't be long it's just being dispensed.... won't be long? I'm 55minutes is beyond a joke. People have come and gone in that time and I'm almost certain it's the same scenario every single time i come to this pharmacy. Also when I said I was paying by card this has been the 3rd time the lady took my card and used my contactless for me without my permission. I do not use contactless and feel it is also very rude to use a customers card for them. Contactless screws your bank up and leaves you overdrawn if you don't monitor it. Will finish this post once I have received my prescription to update the final time. I wouldn't mind but they have that many people behind the desk but there's no turbo speed when they have a lot of work. 15:10 was the final time 1 hour and 10 minutes. Absolutely unacceptable
