JB plumbing came to our house earlier this week. He was not employed by us, sent by a third party to rectify an issue with our sink and loo. He did fix the original issue (external under ground work which blocked pipe within our propert when water supply returned) but caused another. During the repair John needed to remove our sink and vanity unit. We believe he was rushing as he called on his way to another job, John is very full of his abilities and joked about how quick he could get the job done. After him leaving we found that he had connected the taps the wrong way around - hot to cold and cold to hot. When we contacted him two days later to inform of the error, John showed little or no interest but did tell us how to swap the connections ourself. We are able to do this and will as we would prefer to have the water coming from the correct side of the tap as visitors could sustain burns. I'm afraid to say that he will not be added to our contact list nor recommending An update to the above. After a phone call from John, the issue has now been rectified so my star rating and changed from 2 to 3

Had a leak on a pipe for my heating system, which was sorted very quickly. Called them on 23 Dec, came out on Christmas Eve, all sorted in under 1 hour.

Our toilet cistern stopped working and within 3 hours John arrived. Within a few minutes he had diagnosed the problem and within an hour had fitted a new part which totally cured the problem. A great service by someone with years of experience who charges a very reasonable price.

We found a leaky pipe in our garden and a quick google search led us to JB Plumbing and Heating. I rang them and within 20 minutes they were at the house fixing the issue. They completed the work within 20 minutes or so. Couldn't have asked for a better service! Will definitely be using them again if we have more issues.

John came to our rescue after being let down by another plumber even though he himself was super busy. We had low water pressure and a leaking cistern. It wasn’t clear what the problem was with the low pressure but he wasn’t going to be beaten and finally after 2 hours he finally found the culprits - stones and plastic debris which were blocking the pipes. He had the pipes cleared in no time and we’ve had no issues since!! He even popped back on Sunday to check all was ok. We’d definitely recommend as he’s professional, conscientious and reliable.

I rang regarding my heating and explained I had a vulnerable adult in the house. I could not have received a more professional and prompt service but what counted above all else was how patient and kind the engineer was. Great and professional!!! I was very stressed of my damaged pipe (my pipe just broke) when I called but very friendly on the phone and I was able to send a photo with the issue straight away. I was called back with a quote and they told me someone will be with me in half and hour. The team was on time, very friendly and ready to fix due to the picture I sent earlier. Job done and verified within 15 minutes. I can say from the time the pipe broke to be fixed was about one hour. We had a leak at our rental property and John and his team were brilliant I can not rate them highly enough. They turned up within 24 hours and fixed the leak ( including fitting a new toilet and pipe work ) , for a really good price despite extra work being required.
